Alasan was one of 3 triplets. During the war, rebels brutally killed his other brothers and parents. He managed to escape and finally found refuge on the beach in Freetown. Since then, life has been so hard. He asked for a very small loan to sell condiments to the various restaurants along the beach, an opportunity he was so happy to have.
